JESSICA MATTSON - Psychotherapy

Assisting Adolescents, Adults, Couples & Families in Living Their Preferred Life

Therapy can enlarge the scope through which we see ourselves to highlight strengths and resources. We can redefine who we are in relation to family, culture, society, morals, religion, ethnicity, etc., allowing more opportunity for healthy connections and a fuller life.

Jessica has developed a specialty working with those living with cancer and chronic illness. She has spoke with therapists, students and patients to further the knowledge and compassion around those living with chronic illness. Those touched by cancer or other illness can find new meaning and even inspiration.

Jessica's experience as a Marriage & Family Therapist has been enhanced by work in community institutions including, Southern California Counseling Ctr., The Counseling Center at Phillips Graduate University, the University of Southern California, The Juvenile Offender Programs in the Los Angeles area, weSPARK Cancer Support Ctr., and as clinical director at The Stable Malibu. She has extensive experience facilitating support groups for Doing Cancer Solo, Bereavement, and Young Adult Cancer.

This private practice is intended to create an empowering experience for you and loved ones through collaborative therapy. You will work to decrease problems and promote and enhance positive experiences in your everyday life. Benefits include stress reduction, conflict resolution, increased happiness and an overall improved well-being of self.
